update: holiday mini sessions | orange county family photographer

I’m so excited for the first day of holiday mini sessions, which is this Sunday, September 20th, on the beach in Newport Beach. This is the only beach mini session day scheduled so if you are looking for a beach photo for your holiday card, now is the time to book. I still have two spots available so get them before they are gone! If the beach isn’t your thing, no worries! There are two more dates of mini sessions coming up in the next few weeks.

OUR HOLIDAY CARD GALLERY IS NOW AVAILABLE!

Holiday cards are included in the price in the holiday mini session (and can also be purchased a la carte with a full session). If you’d like to see the holiday cards we are offering this year, head on over to the Cindy Chen Photography website, and visit the “Client Proofing” section. The password to access the card gallery is “holiday“. There is something for everyone… modern, playful, classic or traditonal.

and baby makes four | irvine newborn photographer

Meet the newest member of the G family, sweet baby K who was exactly one week old for our session together this past weekend. I had the pleasure of taking his mom’s maternity photos back in June and it was so wonderful to finally meet him!

When people see a new baby for the first time, many try to figure out who the baby looks like… mom, dad or a mix of the two. When I first laid eyes on Baby K, there was no doubt to me who he looked like - his big sister!

Here are a few more images of the little bundle of sweetness.
Awake, asleep, and an adorable happy smile.

While mom was feeding the baby, I had some one-on-one time with his big sister, who after a little bit of warm up time, was so giggly and happy.

end of summer | orange county modern lifestyle portraits

Time to say goodbye to the flip flops and welcome back the closed toed shoes.

If you are in South Orange County, it’s officially the last weekend of summer. School resumes after Labor Day in both the Capistrano and Saddleback Unified School Districts, as well as for many South County private schools. Both of my kids are starting school this Fall… my son is going to be in Kindergarten and my daughter will be starting her first year of preschool! Luckily, the timing works out so that I can be there to drop off both kids at their respective schools and walk them in on their first day. I don’t think I’ll cry, but I am known to get emotional so to be safe, I should probably pack some tissue in my camera bag!

Just a little reminder that Monday, September 7th is the last day of our free 11×14 print holiday booking promotion. All you have to do to qualify is book your holiday session (mini or full session)! Our first day of mini sessions is Sunday, September 20th in Newport Beach. I still have a few spots open.
