itty bitty | orange county newborn photographer

You might remember Tina and Nick, who I had the pleasure of a maternity session with a few months ago.  Last week, their sweet little boy made is debut into the world.  Because Tina was a 9+ lbs baby and Nick is a big guy, I think the bets were on that baby S would be a heavyweight.  Turns out to be quite the opposite, the little peanut came in at 6 lbs 12 ozs!    He is just an itty bitty!  And he is oh so cute too.

Look at how big, alert, and curious his eyes are.  He’s taking it all in at just seven days old.

I absolutlely love baby feet.  They are so tiny and so defined.

And how stinkin’ cute is he wearing this tiny small paul skurvy onesie and sportin’ the faux hawk.
He’s a little OC boy and doesn’t even know it.

Thank you Nick and Tina for giving me the opportunity to photograph your beautiful son.  I have to say, it truly is amazing to have seen him when he was on the inside and now meeting him as this perfect, tiny human being.  Congratulations again W family and enjoy your sneak peek!

And a little reminder for anyone who is looking to book a newborn session.  Newborn photos are best when scheduled during the first ten days of life.  Please contact me before your due date to schedule your session!

so full of energy and fun | irvine family photographer

Toddlers are so full of energy and fun.  I love it.  Although sometimes it gets a little crazy, they make sessions so much fun and keep me on my toes!  Little E was no exception.  Before the session, mom told me that he loves to run and play… and he sure does!  We had a fun morning of playing chase, throwing balls, blowing bubbles, and rolling trucks around at his local park.

I think little E is definitely mama’s boy.  So sweet to capture this moment between them.

After the park we headed back to their house to finish up the session. While everyone was getting changed, I couldn’t resist snapping a few of their very first baby. His name is Latte. Isn’t he cute?

One of the things little E was exicted to do when we were outside on his porch was to look for “nay-ohs” (translation: snails).  His brave mama not only found him one, but two!  I’m calling her brave because I’m actually afraid of snails and I’m not exactly sure why.  (Note to friends: Aren’t you proud of me for taking snail pictures?)  Snails are a total boy thing!

Since I could stay up all night sharing images of this adorable family, here are two more to finish off this little sneak peek.  Little E is such a happy, friendly guy. I love his sweet smile.

Thanks T family for spending your Sunday morning with me!  I had a great time playing with E!

happy baby | orange county baby photographer

baby + happy = pure cuteness
Sure, maybe mom, dad, and the photographer had to sing and dance and act a little silly but when you see that happy face, it’s soooo worth it, wouldn’t you agree?

I had a great session this afternoon with this adorable guy and his mom and dad… a sweet family of three. Baby A was such a delight… so easy going, just like mom and dad (who graciously allowed me to let their 9 month old get down and dirty exploring the pavement, dirt and grass).  It was so much fun!

Thank you for the wonderful session M family. Baby A is so lucky to have you as parents!  Enjoy your sneak peek!  And before I sign off… one last one… just mom and dad.
